“Those who enjoy the intimacy of
Norah Jones or Windham Hill will love this music. The sound
production is so clear you can drink it from the tap!”

“Listening to the CD made my speakers
disappear and suddenly I was with the musicians.”

| "I do not usually write reviews
but wanted to express my appreciation for producing, recording
and mastering what is now my demonstration SACD. The spatial
imaging and clarity is such that one is immersed in the
music rather than simply hearing a performance. The E.S.E.
miking technique is something I have to explore through
the articles on your website."
PS: Yes, I will tell all my friends.

| "Cookie, Package arrived yesterday.
I have the redbook CD on now (SACD has never sounded as
good on anything as CD does on Audio Note digital gear to
my ears, so I have no SACD player here), and the sound is
glorious. Guitars are magic and Jane Selkye is the first
female vocalist I've ever heard who can break a note without
breaking anything else!
I'll bring the CD with me to RMAF. I'm listening on my 'second
system,' having sent my state of the art digital transport
on ahead to Denver."
Thanks so much.

| “It’s a thrill to be working
with a company like Blue Coast Records,” commented
Bill McNally, Vice President/General Manager, Burnside Distribution.
“I have worked many years with Cookie Morenco, a remarkably
talented woman who, with her staff, has put together a real
music lover’s label. The sonic quality of the recordings
is unsurpassed. Their music will certainly appeal to music
lovers and high-end audio enthusiasts alike. More important,
at least to me, is that it’s something I enjoy listening
to when I’m in the mood to hear simply beautiful music.”

| “"Been listening to your Blue
Coast Collection SACD for the past few days and they are
the most natural sounding recordings I have ever heard!
The vocals and acoustic instruments have so much warmth
and air around them, it feels like a live performance. It
has to be the most stress relieving disc available! I cannot
wait to hear your next recordings. (Piano) Hopefully more
people in Australia get to hear your wonderful recordings.
I might be the first person in Western Australia to have
purchased this SACD?"”

| "...First, I want to know what Al means by "genuine", and what kind of 5.1 stuff he's been listening that he doesn't like. Is he talking about those Sting mixes? (I actually think they're fabulous, even though I'm not trying to do anything remotely like them -- pun intended). Is he talking about the new Beatles remixes? What about the surround sampler from Blue Coast Records? (Anyone who cares about surround recording must get this and listen to it!) Is Al simply objecting to the pervasive sound of Lexicon 960 in the rear channels of what's otherwise a conventional stereo recording? Enquiring minds want to know!..."

| "I recently listened to the Blue Coast Collection: The E.S.E. Sessions (Various Artists). I generally refrain from superlatives in regard to audio products but, frankly, this recording is one of the most impressive and outstanding recordings I have ever heard. The degree of transparency and musicality is such that I truly felt that I was in the presence of live performers and their instruments. If there ever was an ultimate "audiophile-grade" recording, this has to be it. Kudos to Cookie Marenco and Jean-Claude Reynaud for such an awe-inspiring gift to audiophiles and music lovers alike!"
